Crystal Quartz :
In the welding electrode manufacturing process, silica sand or quartz powder serves as a key ingredient in flux mixtures. The silica minerals utilized for this purpose must meet strict purity specifications, specifically containing between 97.5% and 99.5% silicon dioxide (SiO2), with maximum allowable impurities of 0.05% iron oxide (Fe2O3) and 0.03% sulphur (S). Additionally, the material should have a granular size ranging from 100 to 200 mesh.
Our Specifications :
- SiO₂ content : 98.5% - 99.8% (depending on the grade).
- Fe₂O₃ content : 0.04% and below 0.002%.
- Mesh sizes : 200 mesh, 300 mesh, 325 mesh.
